Commissioned By Theatre Royal Plymouth, Lab Company "Run Like Stags" to design their logo.
I wanted to incorporate the name of the company into the image. Using expressive mark making to suggest movement. I kept everything hand rendered to give the final image a more tactile finish.
I offered lots of different options where they could pick their favourite for me to refine a little further.
They decided to go for the full body silhouette of a stag, option 3. I'm glad they went for that one as it was my favourite too.
I tidied up the initial sketch on photoshop, adding subtle facial features such as the eye, nose and mouth.
